Outside of San Francisco

There is even more to see outside the city. Yosemite National Park is a must. Closer to the city there is Muir Woods National Monument (so called big trees). For ocean lovers, Big Sur on the south is the place where to enjoy ocean views. Local people also recommended us visiting Carmel-by-the-Sea city, simply just Carmel which is not that far from San Francisco or Lake Tahoe. For those who enjoy wine tasting, Napa Valley and all vineyards nearby worth visiting.
If you want to see Los Angeles or San Diego, locals recommend flying there because of the traffic and a loooong drive. You can book cheap flights here:
