The top media influencers discussed issues and trends in the world of public relations, content marketing, publishing, and digital storytelling at this year’s PR Summit event. Attendees participated in compelling panel discussions, keynotes, break-out sessions, workshops and networking. I’ve learned how to become a fantastic storyteller :-), how visuals make communications more thoughtful, precise and engaging, how to best leverage the power of the most popular social media sites, or how journalists really want to be pitched with a stories.

I found the event most useful because of the people I could meet and interact with. I had an opportunity to speak to many influential journalists from media outlets such as Forbes, NY Times, Entrepreneur, Inc., Business Insider, Silicon Valley Watcher, ZDNet, Huffington Post and many others. One of them was futurist influencer and tech evangelist Robert Scoble who talked about the biggest upcoming tech trends. He mentioned that e.g. VR and AR (virtual and augmented reality) will be the most dominant story at the next year’s CES conference and that they are going to set the tone for the tech industry.
